Details:Kitano Odori is a district-wide dance held annually at Kitano Tenman-gu Shrine. This performance takes place every April in the distinctive Hanayagiryu style of Kyo-mai dance which is also known as Kitano Kabuki.

Details:The Maiko and Geigi of the Miyagawacho Kabukai give a lovely performance of Kyo odori at the Miyagawa-cho Kaburen-jo Theatre. The first performance was held here in 1950 which was moved to the Minamiza theatre after the 5th performance, but after the renovation of the original Miyagawa-cho Kaburen-jo Theatre in 1969, the performance returned to its original location.

Details:Performed by the Maiko and Geiko of the Gion Kobu, its first performance took place in 1872 to promote prosperity in Kyoto after the capital moved to Tokyo and the city was in recession and is now a well known annual event.

Details:Performed by the elegant Maiko and Geiko of Ponto-cho Hanamachi, the first performances started in 1872. This event is held annually at the Ponto Kaburenjo theatre.
