This Villa was converted into Kyoto Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Villa Museum in 1920 by Shotaro Kaga, an Entrepreneur from Osaka. Displayed are a collection of Ceramics, lacquer ware, dyed cloth, textiles, Japanese and western style paintings, and modern sculptures. The architecture of the Oyamazaki Museum consists of both old and new: an existing Western Tudor-style villa based on architectural style seen in England.
