This Villa was converted into Kyoto Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Villa Museum in 1920 by Shotaro Kaga, an Entrepreneur from Osaka. Displayed are a collection of Ceramics, lacquer ware, dyed cloth, textiles, Japanese and western style paintings, and modern sculptures.

This Villa was converted into Kyoto Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Villa Museum in 1920 by Shotaro Kaga, an Entrepreneur from Osaka. Displayed are a collection of Ceramics, lacquer ware, dyed cloth, textiles, Japanese and western style paintings, and modern sculptures. The architecture of the Oyamazaki Museum consists of both old and new: an existing Western Tudor-style villa based on architectural style seen in England.
