Details:
Our workshop is located near Takakura nijo on Kuge street just south of the imperial palace which means court nobles, derived from the aristocratic environment of the area.
Though it is located close to Karasuma oike station on the subway, the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The Kimono and Obi designed at Rakurakujin Koubou are a monochrome base, tastefully chic. The Kimono made at Rakurakujin Koubou were designed from the image of fireflies incorporated in the pattern. With a special dyeing process and technique, the pattern glows prettier in the sunlight. Brings out the best of the wearer. We also carry framed obi patterns, Japanese ancient heritage of textile dyeing artwork , tapestries made from old kimono patterns, and traditional patterned table clothes.
Please drop by! We look forward to your visit.
