The only authentic Russian restaurant in Kyoto. KIEV Russian restaurant got its name and opened in 1972, the same year that Kyoto city and Kiev city (present capital of Ukraine) became sister cities. Mainly Russian cuisine, you can enjoy a variety of Eurasian cooking.

Details:
You can enjoy a delicious meal with a view of the Kamo-gawa river, Shijō bridge and the Minamiza theatre just outside the window. We serve the delicious taste of Russian, Ukrainian and Georgian home-cooking at a reasonable price. Start off with some Georgian wine then enjoy some Russian vodka, Russian beer and more. There are also 2 private rooms (fits 12 and 25 people) with a view of the Higashiyama mountains, perfect for parties. We also hold regular events such as "Culture Salon", "Kiev Amuse" and concerts that anyone is free to take part in. Course meals range from 3,500 Yen - 8,400 Yen, Lunch menu ranges from 1,200 Yen - 1,800 Yen, Party plans start at 3,500 Yen and All you can drink from 1,500 Yen. English menus and English speaking staff are also available. Reservations are preferable.
