In the lively atmosphere of Gion, but set quietly away from the noise and bustle, you can find our Japanese hot plate restaurant "sou". Not only do we serve hot plate dishes but original Kyoto-style dishes. You can enjoy the perfect harmony of lean and fatty meat from our locally bred Japanese beef. We bring in loads of fresh seafood everyday to deliver the best hot plate dishes for your hunger satisfying pleasure. Also a bar, we have delicious side dishes that go well with alcohol. A little something to enjoy with our grand selection of over 80 different wines always available, specially selected by our chef who also happens to be our personal sommelier.

Create your own course with such requests as grilled abalone and we will incorporate that into something extra special customized for you.
