KINGYOYA is a small inn in a renovated old Kyoto Machiya. A guesthouse where you can enjoy delicious seasonal meals. Night accommodation plans also available.

Feel the nostalgic atmosphere of the old machiya. Take one step in through the entrance and you will find a long corridor passing the kitchen and a well leading to the back yard where you can get a feel of every season.

There are many recommended sightseeing spots around KINGYOYA such as Kinkaku-ji, Daitoku-ji, Ryokan-ji temples, Kitano Tenmangu, Imamiya-jinja shrines, Funaoka Hot Springs, Funaokayama park, Kamishichiken and Jofuku-ji road.

KINGYOYA Meals
There is not set menu here at Kingyoya but we our proud to offer delicious meals prepared with our home grown organic vegetables and local ingredients of northern Kyoto. Fresh seasonal ingredients with old nostalgic barbeque grills. Enjoy the true taste of the ingredients itself. The vegetables are brought in from the farm directly once or twice a week. We are take pride in serving the original taste of Japanese food: white rice, pickles and miso soup.
